Italy is best known for its wonderful sun shine…….but what if on your wedding the sun decides to stay in bed and…..rain knocks at your door.
Well, I know it is always something brides do not even want to hear about it, but as I tell my brides: we need to have a great back up plan and never use it.
The villa you use may offer indoor rooms: if this is the case you are settled and your planner can decide with you even to move the wedding just before it begins.
Never trust the weather .
And…don’t ask your wedding planner to guarantee nice weather…..as she may be the best in town but..let’s not ask for too much.
This year is just troubly: it’s rainy then sunshine, then rain again. What a mess.
Last Saturday we did a wedding and ……it began raining just before the ceremony. and the forcast said: no rain. Can you believe it !
Italy saying is : Wet bride, lucky bride: Sposa bagnata, sposa fortunata
Although the run against time to make sure all the guests were safe and in our back up plan all turned out just great!
What a run. My muscles do hurt still…but it was indeed worth having another happy bride.
