Your wedding gown is the dress of a lifetime and set the style of the entire wedding, also ushers’ attire, and bridesmaids’ and mothers’ dresses. So, determine the day, time and formality of Your reception first, then look through magazines, internet and visit specialized boutiques…
Look for an atelier where You can try on some models: perhaps none will be Yours, but You will…
– do a test on a whim,
– be sure that the model You imagined suites You at best,
– have new ideas.
Seamstress and stylist will have the task to collect Your dreams and sew them in Your coveted gown!
One expedition could not suffice, don’t be discouraged! Take Your time and enjoy Your investigation…!
It’s always a good rule to fix and remind the budget of Your entire dress: that means gown, veil or hat, stockings, shoes, lingerie… in case gloves, shawl, coat or more.
Ask a friend, a sister, Your mother or Your wedding planner… (or they all together!) to come for input and insight. But remember: choose someone You’re really intimate. They have to know You well and be honest: their task is to help You find the best gown for You, not the one they like!
